Events organized by ACTEDJ

On June 28, ACTEDJ organized the first Site visit (DT2.3.1) within the GreeTHis BSB- 305 project. The event started with a presentation of the project, its objectives and activities. In collaboration with  “Mila 80” Association, the project team has outlined a route that will present some buildings of historical and cultural interest located in the central area of the city. Some of these buildings will be included in the virtual tour and will benefit from feasibility studies in terms of energy efficiency.

The representative of “Mila 80” Association presented information regarding the architects of the buildings and which institutions carried out their activity in those buildings until they came into the possession of the current owners. Some of these are still the headquarters of institutions or private companies. Unfortunately, most require intervention work both on the consolidation side and on the energy side. The event was also attended by a lady architect who presented some specialized solutions for these buildings.

On June 20, ACTEDJ organized the second Site visit (DT2.3.1) within the GreeTHis BSB- 305 project. The event started with a presentation of the project, its objectives and activities. In collaboration with  “Mila 80” Association, the project team has outlined a route that presented some buildings of historical and cultural interest located in the the city. The theme of this tour was related to the historical buildings that belonged to the local minorities or buildings in which they performed their activity.

The representative of “Mila 80” Association presented information regarding the architects of the buildings and which local minoritie carried out their activity in those buildings until they came into the possession of the current owners. Unfortunately, most require intervention work both on the consolidation side and on the energy side.

The event was attended by the representatives of the local community, NGO’s, stakeholders, and representatives of SME and local public authority.

On 14th of August, ACTEDJ has organized the first local workshop (D.T.2.2.1 within the GreeTHiS BSB- 305 project. The event was organized at IWT Environmental Information Center and started with a presentation of the project, its objectives and activities.

The event was attended by the representatives of the local community, local public authority, interest groups including NGOs, SME and gathered together over 20 representatives of the different institutions from Galati.

Also, it enjoyed the presence of guests who represented the regional administrations of the Cahul and Reni District.

Within the event was presented the project, the objectives, and the main activities.

In the second part, a debate was held on the field of energy efficiency, innovative technologies, and energy efficiency solutions of buildings.

Workshop and site visit in Varna, Bulgaria

The UBBSLA experts promoted the GreeTHIS concept during the first workshop organized in Varna Free University on June 1st, 2019. The ambitious idea and the expected outcomes of the project were presented within the Session “Conservation of the Cultural and Historical Heritage”. Over 20 experts on energy efficient technologies, engineering, architects, local authority’s representatives, etc. took part in the event with active contribution on sharing energy saving and conservation measures in buildings. Concrete measures of energy saving interventions were shared with regards to the small scale investment foreseen in the project pilot building. In addition, local and regional initiatives for preservation of culture heritage and historic significance of Varna and the region were communicated to the attendants. Good practices and future opportunities were discussed as well.

The next day, UBBSLA organized the first site visit to the historic central part of Varna with the specific focus on the project pilot building, where practical measure will be realized The site visit was linked with a demonstration of technologies for restoration and renovation of cultural buildings performed by the professional experts and architects, representatives of engineering and construction companies, civic organizations working in the field, etc. The attendants were aquainted with the history of construction of the building, its historic background and prupose of exploitation. Then the facades and the external sides were observed and documented for the purpose of the pilot interventions. Specific techniques for facade renovations were presented and discussed between the participants. . As a result of the intervention the building is to be turned into tourist info point for the tourists and guests of Varna.

The second site visit within GreeTHIS was organized by UBBSLA  on 31st July 2019 as a tour to the Salt Mine near Provadia town, an archaeological site dated back to VI – Vth century BC and the ancient Roman city of Marcianopolis with the picturesque water springs in the town of Devnya. Representatives of local authorities, museums, NGOs, business, etc.  visited the two local heritage sites and got acquainted with the inherent values and influence they have had on the ancient livelihood.

Workshop and site visit in Izmail

On 17th May 2019 took place the workshop for stakeholders in the framework of the project.

During the event, the project itself, its main goals, objectives and future activities were presented first. Then, more specifically, stakeholders were informed regarding the market research of innovative technologies for EE and climate buildings in the BSB countries, its structure and some issues that had already been worked out. Each participant was given a questionnaire, through which one can assess the level of education of those present in the field of innovative EE technologies and have got feedback on how to improve the city through the use of EE technologies.    

Representatives of energy-efficient enterprises operating in Izmail had the opportunity to tell about themselves, their activities, products and present the objects already implemented.
The event gathered 25 participants, such as experts on energy efficiency technologies, hoteliers, restaurateurs, representatives of local authorities and others.

At the end of all the presentations, the interested parties had an active discussion on the already existing examples of the use of EE technologies, the state of some of the historical sites of the city that require modernization, and were more interested in the upcoming work on energy-efficient modernization of Izmail historical Museum of the Danube region.

On the same note it was organized the 1st site-visit in Izmail on 17th May 2019 in historical Museum of the Danube region where 25 participants (such as experts on energy efficiency technologies, hoteliers, restaurateurs, representatives of local authorities and others) got a tour of the museum and raised their education in the field of the city’s history. Also, they were able to assess the state of the museum before the work on energy-efficient modernization, which will take place as part of the project, and dedicated to the problems of heating, lighting and other communal problems of the museum.

2019 წლის 19 თებერვალს საქართველოს აგდილობრივ თვითმმართველობათა ეროვნულმა ასოციაციამ (ათეამ), პროექტ „მწვანე ტურიზმი და ისტორიული მემკვიდრეობა – შავი ზღვის აუზის განვითარების საფუძვლები“-ს ფარგლებში, გამართა პირველი ე.წ. „ბიზნეს საუზმე“, რომელშიც მონაწილეობას იღებდნენ საქართველოს მუნიციპალიტეტთა, ათეას, საქართველოს ცენტრალური ხელისუფლებისა და ისეთი ევროპული ორგანიზაციების წარმომადგენლები, როგორებიცაა PLATFORMA და NALAS-ი.

ღონისძიების მიზანი გახლდათ გამოცდილებების გაზიარება სხვადასხვა სფეროებში და მათ შორის ტურიზმის განვითარების საკითხებშიც. ღონისძიების ფორმატი გახლდათ არაფორმალური, საუზმის ტიპის შეხვედრა, რაც, ჩვენი აზრით, ხელშემწყობი ფაქტორია სამომავლო კომუნიკაციების უკეთ ჩამოყალიბებისთვის.

 2 საათიანი შეხვედრა გაიმართა ქალაქ თბილისში, სასტუმრო „ჰოლიდეი ინ“-ში.

GreeTHIS DT2.2.1 Second Workshops for stakeholders

2019 წლის 18 თებერვალს საქართველოს აგდილობრივ თვითმმართველობათა ეროვნულმა ასოციაციამ (ათეამ), პროექტ „მწვანე ტურიზმი და ისტორიული მემკვიდრეობა – შავი ზღვის აუზის განვითარების საფუძვლები“-ს ფარგლებში, გამართა მეორე ადგილობრივი სემინარი, სადაც მეწვეულ სტუმრებს შორის გახლდათ ქართული მუნიციპალიტეტების, ადგილობრივი არასამთავრობო ორგანიზაციების, ცენტრალური ხელისუფლებისა და ევროპული ინსტიტუციების წარმოამდგენლები.

სემინარის მთავარ მიზანს წარმოადგენდა საქართველოში მიმდინარე რეფორმების განხილვა, მათ შორის ტურიზმის რეფორმის, კერძოდ კი კულტურულ/ისტორიული ტურიზმის განვითარების სამომავლო გეგმები.

ღონისძიების დროს მოხდა საბოლოო შეთანხმდა, რომ  საქართველოს განათლების, მეცნიერების, სპორტისა და კულტურის სამინსტროსა და ათეას შორის გაფორმდეს ურთიერთანამშრომლობის მემორანდუმი ‘’კულტურული მარშრუტები“ს პროგრამის ფარგლებში, რომელიც გაფორმდა 2020 წლის 24 თეერვალს.
